The Sheppard Memorial: This memorial at St. Nick's is quite confusing. The brass reads "Mrs. Elizabeth Sheppard, who departed this life on October 14, 1914, wife of Frederick Augustus Sheppard, in whose memory the adjoining window was erected in 1832 by their loving daughter, Rose Welton" As Elizabeth died October 14 1914, how was the window erected in 1832? If anyone has any information about this, please let me know, [email protected].
Canon William Henry Prior: Canon Prior was the Priest in charge of St. Nicks before Fr. Boyes. If anyone has any pictures of him, a copy of them would be appreciated for our archives please?
